ORGANIZATION MEETING - MONDAY, APRIL 7, 2008 - VILLAGE HALL – 7:00 PM

The Board of Trustees will convene at 5:00 PM and adjourn into an Executive Session to discuss personnel, contracts, and legal matters. 

1.       Roll Call.

2.       Administration of Oaths to Mayor Elizabeth Feld, and Trustees Marlene Kolbert and Jim Millstein.

3.       Invocation by Msgr. Thomas Kelly, St. Augustine’s Church.

4.       Presentation of Certificate of Election.

5.       Mayor’s announcements and appointments to Committees and Commissions.

6.       Hear those persons who wish to address the Board

7.       Reports by Trustees.

8.       Report by Fire Chief.

9.       Appointments by Mayor:

Licensing Officer
Deputy Mayor
Alternate to Larchmont-Mamaroneck Joint Sanitation Commission
Liaison Trustees

10.     Appointments by Mayor of the following, with the approval of the Board of Trustees:

Village Attorney for a term of one year
Treasurer for a term of two years
Deputy Village Treasurer for a term of one year
Village Clerk for a term of two years
Deputy Village Clerk & Deputy Registrar for a term of one year

11.     Resolution fixing time and place of Board meetings.

12.     Authorize renewal of Surety Bonds to cover all Village employees.

13.     Designation of depository banks for Village funds for the ensuing year.

14.     Set date for Memorial Day Parade.

15.     7:30 PM - PUBLIC HEARING in connection with the 2008-2009 Preliminary Budget.

16.       8:30 PM – PUBLIC HEARING to consider a local law to revise Chapter 273 of the Code of the Village of Larchmont to restrict the idling of motor vehicle engines. 

17.     Approve minutes of meetings – Jan. 7, Jan. 28, Feb. 11, Feb. 25, and March 18, 2008.

18.     Treasurer:  Report on financial matters

19.      Attorney:  Report on legal matters.

20.     Adjournment.
