Acceptable Items

Most properly labeled household chemicals, including: automotive fluids (antifreeze, brake fluid, gasoline), fire starter fluid, polishes and waxes, turpentine and solvents, wood preservatives, pesticides, insecticides, herbicides, photographic and swimming pool chemicals, car tires (maximum 10), fluorescent light bulbs, fire extinguishers, small 1 to 2 pound propane tanks, rechargeable and button cell batteries, mercury (thermometers, thermostats), computer monitors and TVs.

Items NOT Acceptable

Paint (Oil & Latex), Motor Oil, Vehicle Batteries, Non-Rechargeable Batteries, BBQ/Propane Tanks and other Compressed Gas Cylinders, Freon and appliances with freon, Smoke and Fire Detectors, Pharmaceutical / Medical / Biological Waste, materials from commercial and institutional users.
